October 26th, 2021
Quick, quick quick, - we are coming to the end of October and I have been so lackadaisacal about leaving a little
October note to mark the passing of the days.....
It has been a lovely month, and I have had a wonderful trip up the mountain, full of memories and beautiful Similkameen spots. Thanks to Vince, who made a fine companion and a most willing driver....
Now to enjoy life, sunshine and the muted fall colours in the lower Similkameen,
here at home and in the back garden
and the meadow between me
and the forested creek....

It's a beautiful time of year. Thank you for the lovely photos. Enjoy viv
It is a time to soak up the view and the last of the autumn sun...soon it will be time to curl up in front of a fire with a good book and a warm blanket...and that's not a bad thing either!
Glad you're still enjoying some fall weather, Hildred. It's snowing hard here as I write!
October can be one of the loveliest seasons for a drive to favorite spots; I've also found autumn to be a time for nostalgia, memories of other times. Its been a longer than usual fall here in Kentucky--we wish it could linger through December!
Glad you are well and was able to get out to explore the beautiful country around you! Thanks for sharing the lovely photos with us!
