The letter this week is I
And after I have thought about the lovely Iris, about which /who I have written before, my mind is immediately full of the sweet, delicate
Icelandic poppy
They grow prolifically wherever I scatter wildflower seeds. and come back to bring colour and pleasure to the garden each year.
What could be more graceful than a bed of fragile poppies blowing in a warm summer breeze!!!!!
They have a lovely innocence about them, and together with blue batchelor buttons and little white popcorn flowers they make a perfect picture.
