The letter is M for Memories
My contribution today is unabashedly sentimental!!
Memories, sung by Bing Crosby.
My husband learned to play "Memories" from a player piano when he first left school,
and it stirs my heart and my own memories when I play it now...
For more Ms mosey on over to ABC Wednesday, here
with thanks to Denise and Roger and all their
memorable helpers.

Oh, I do love me some Bing Crosby! Nice when a recording can hold those memories for you, right? My dad used to try to sing like Bing Crosby on an obscure movie cut called "The Old Ox Road." Of course, Dad couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, but this lyrics were hysterical... Found you on ABC Weds. Amy
The picture brought back old memories..!
Was not familiar with this rendition by Bing....thanks for bringing it to my attention♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/morning/
It's awesome when a song can stir your heart!
Bing came to me late. I have a friend named Fred who belonged to his fan club and burned me some copies.
Bing was an old Spokane boy, went to Gonzaga, my father's alma mater, sort of around the same era. So he was listened to avidly at our house and talked about. And we sang his lyrics on Sunday drives .... I still know so many of them by heart (but I still can't carry a tune).
Thanks for comments, - Bing was a big part of my teen age years and I waited avidly for his theme song "Where the blue of the Night"....ah, sentimental memories.... I know Gonzaga, Sallie, - have friends who went there.
