Such a beautiful garden for us today. I'm reminded of your post a while back where you talked about "Mrs Lovely." I've tried not to over-use that word ever since. But it would fit your alphabet post perfectly here.
Thank you for taking me on a tour in this gorgeous garden! I can spend hours walking around. Your photos are excellent! Thanks for your visit. There are many bloggers who had relatives from London or lived in London themselves. I visited London many times, mostly with my students.
Lavender and lilies - wonderful! Such lovely photographs you have. We try to grow lavender but are not at all successful with it - and we've tried many varieties! We can grow lilies though and they are so rewarding. (Why is your lovely garden lost?)
Wanda - the poor dear garden is Lost because when we downsized and sold the three acres we had on the edge of the village the buyer decided to plant fruit trees on it, and so he cut down all the beautiful willows and evergreens and the trees that lined the property that Charles had planted. and let all the flowers beds die, and didn't water the roses, so now all that is left are the shrubs, the Star Magnolia, the Forsythia, the Peony Tree, the Honeysuckle, the Trumpet vine and a Korean Viburnum. It did break my heart, and I rescued what I could from it and planted peonies in our new garden. However, his nectarine trees are doing beautifully, and I guess that life changes and we adapt......
