Skywatch Friday
How the blue grew this week in the Similkameen
Oh, Monday, an interesting sky, but hardly worth talking about where 'blue' is concerned.
Tuesday made a little more effort, and in the afternoon the sky to the west made a nice background for the walnut trees.
Wednesday the sunrise showed faint promise, but the pale peachy colours quickly faded.
But Thursday the sun finally claimed the day for his own, and on our way to Penticton contrails criss-crossed the lovely blue sky, and the snow covered hills glistened against a forget-me-not background.
Lots more interesting and beautiful skies here at Skywatch Friday.

Thanks!
Awesome and wonderful series.
Spring will come soon.
Regrds.
Have a blessed weekend.

What a lovely series fo skies. Great shots
What a cheery, optimistic post. The walnut trees look wonderful against the sky but your last photo really is forget-me-not blue. Beautiful!
Well done, great collection of images of the sky in the different moods of waiting for spring.
What a gorgeous series of sky shots. They look very mysterious as the light is fading.
Your sky photos are always special!
Like all the photos. Stay warm and lets hope for more blue skies
That is the most blue I have seen all this week, Hildred - very grey and cold here in the UK.
The first picture is really amazing.:)
Hello!
We seem to be having those lovely photos in reverse this week!
It has been clear and warm and as I type it is cloudy and forecast to rain all weekend.
That is OK though, we can still use some rain and all the yard work is done!
Lovely set of photos this week of your skies, thanks for sharing.
A fabulous post Hildred -- I love the look at your whole week.
I'm behind on posting and reading because we're on the road; catching up tonight and I'm so glad I caught this post. Just lovely.
Also the forsythia in your new header is great; perfect for this time of year. (But I'm glad you kept the rose on the sidebar -- I would have missed it!)
