SkyWatch Friday
Sometimes sunrise comes so suddenly here in the Similkameen, and changes so quickly, that if you happen to be slicing up a banana or have your head in the pantry you have missed the whole spectacular act.....
A few days ago I was lucky enough to catch it.
The Dawning
6.27 a.m.
6.28 in the southeastern sky
6.29 a.m.
6.30 a.m.
6.31 a.m.
The day ended with a moody kind of sky.....

You presented very calm shots of the sky and surprisingly enough, a moody sky at the end. Tricky.
Isn't nice to sit and watch the sunrise. What a great day. Great photos, thanks for sharing your skywatch.
Calm at first and it became darker. Wonderful skies! Great shots.
Enjoy your weekend.
Great to see it all moment by moment. The morning looked so smooth before the moodiness arrived.
The sky is so changeable - I love how the light and colour grow.
simply gorgeous!
Wow! Hasn't digital photography changed our world? My daughter check in on my blog at work on her lunch break to see what we have been up to. THey live a 5-hour drive away! We will be visiting them next w/e!

I love the idea of the sky being moody Hildred.
Lovely dawn pictures. My bedroom window faces the dawn and I watch it rise every day at this time of the year. Wonderful - it is never the same twice.
Have a good weekend.
What a terrific evening sky! Great shots!
Thank you so much for these sunrise photos. I felt as tho' I was standing right beside you drinking it in. The moody skies shot, just shows us how changeable the sky can be - just like us humans. Shirley
