Reflections

The piano reflected in the midst of the snow covered cedar tree, where the little birds sleep

an angel, - a prism, - catches the light and is haloed in the night, outside

the candles, flamed down now to sweet stubs after glowing for two magical evenings

lighting the way for the angels

a nostalgic Christmas, anticipating a blithe New Year.

Lovely upbeat post Hildred. Yes, we oldies must look forward into the New Year full of hope. A Happy new year to you.

Hi Hildred, Glad to see you're cozy and comfortable in your home amid the decorations from Christmas. I've been lighting the candles in the late afternoon - they seem to keep the chill at bay. (Maybe the fireplace helps, too!) I like the thought of a "blithe" New Year!

The perfect way to celebrate ... a mix of nostalgia for the past and anticipation for the new.

I think about you every day when I read my e-mail poem from the Year of Being Here. Thank you for letting us know about this opportunity. It is a real gift.
