ABC Wednesday
May 2nd, 2012

P is the letter for this week, and it stands for one of my favourite old time pieces, Peg o' my Heart written in 1913 by Alfred Bryan and Fred Fisher.

Here is this lovely song played tenderly by Jerry Murad's Harmonicats.

Enjoy, and visit here at ABC Wednesday  to find out what else P stands for.

Pretty period piece perfectly performed.

I really do love this Piece of music. I hadn't thought about it for many years.
I think our dance band in high school would play this once in a while (along with more current hits) Our band leader tried to get us kids to enjoy all types of music.

That is the longest harmonica I have ever seen! My ABC Wednesday is Poopsidedown.

One of the things I love about ABC Wednesday is hearing and seeing 'new to me' things.

Hildred and Charles — I've heard this before, but have never seen the harmonicas used by the Harmonicats. Amazing.
Thanks for this!
