How cute and sweet!! I never heard this song before either, but it is perfect! Now I'm off to bed and I'll be falling asleep with this song in my head!

Beautiful, Hildred and Charles! I have a video tape of a movie about Hans Christian Andersen with Danny Kaye starring as H.C.Andersen. He sings this song together with the schoolchildren. Good choice for I.

Inchworm! Perfect! They belong to the family geometridae, I believe, which I've always found amusingly apposite!

That's the most dreamy, lullaby-like version of that song I've heard.

On behalf of the team, thanks for taking part in ABC Wednesday this week! :)

Thank you for this one. I don't think the song is well know over here, but it ought to be.

Oh I LOVE this song. I taught it to the children in every class I ever had.

A really chilled out version of the song. Great to sing with children. Once more you post a unique word.

I loved Danny Kaye singing Inch Worm. I haven't thought of that in simply ages. Thanks for bringing back a nice memory.

How beautiful - I'd almost forgotten this pretty little song. I remember it being sung by Dannie Kaye. Thank you. A
