I live in the Similkameen Valley, Hilary, in southern B.C. - there was a wonderful light the day I took that picture of the houses and the hillside at the back of my garden.
They were interviewing a RAF pilot today who was shot down and helped by the French Resistance which was a fascinating story, not to mention that after the war he met the German pilot who had downed the plane.
