Here is the letter B

B is for Banjo

And a wonderful banjo rendition of  ' All the World is Waiting for the Sunrise'  by Ken Aoki.   I love his smile, his happy enthusiasm and the marvelous attachment between performer and instrument.  Hope you enjoy it as much as I have.  It makes my eyes sparkle and my heart smiles too.

For more interesting B's visit here at ABC Wednesday, with thanks to Mrs. Nesbitt and her band of merry helpers.

They say the banjo is a very difficult instrument to master. Lovely choice for our B day!

Nice to see banjo played on stage. In the Philippines the mountain people played this instrument well. I don't know why the city folks didn't bother to learn it. I like the music and his smile too^_^

That's talent right there and I love his facial expressions.

Your header picture of the garden with the mountains behind is absolutely gorgeous. What a view!

It certainly does bring a smile to my face! I used to play a small bango that was a ukulele bango when I was a young girl.

Great song and not one that I would expect to be played on the Banjo.
Perfect choice for the letter B.

Banjo playing like I've never heard before! Sounds not unlike that other B, the balalaika.

That was so much fun to watch. I never really thought of a banjo as being a japanese choice of instrument. Also, when I think of banjos, I think of campfires and front porches.

He is a delight to watch. I think it is a difficult instrument to play and I have not encountered a lot of banjo players. Thanks for sharing!

Your garden photo is "knock your socks off" beautiful. Is the bird house a new addition in the flower garden?

Reminds me of John Hartford on the banjo--remember him?
