Skywatch Friday

Late this afternoon I snapped these pictures of a tender spring sky here in the Similkameen.

The waxing moon rose early, nestled in the clouds. Squint a bit and look for the girl stretching out her arms to catch the ethereal moon.

Out in the West the clouds gather and obscured the setting sun but there is still a
slender glow hugging the horizon.

For world-wide skies visit Skywatch Friday here.

Hi Hildreth. What a lovely description of early spring -- I will remember that!

Can it be true, Hildred? Has spring already arrived in the Similkameen? Are those this year's Forsythia in your Header? You lucky Gal! It's snowing here in Denver.

I love your description of early spring, too! A tender spring sky describes it perfectly! We're having a bit of the same here in Seattle and it's wonderful! Hope you have a lovely weekend, Hildreth!
