Sky Watch Friday

Morning skies in the Similkameen

6:51 a.m.

6:52 a.m.

6:53 a.m.

6:58 a.m.

7:00 a.m.

And while the Eastern sky glowed with these fantastic golds and blues, in the West the reflection was a soft and rosy red.

The date was September 29th, 2004

Who wouldn't spring out of bed and wait patiently for such a glorious morning show...

Lucky you didn't sleep through that sun rise. You watched. Then patiently had that camera and kept on shooting. Timeline is excellent idea for sky shots. Keep it up!

Hi Hildred,
I'm always amazed at how quickly the sky changes! The shots you were able to capture are truly timeless. I love the name of where you live: "Similkameen" - so musical sounding!
