Now that is the sort of gardening I like, sitting on my chair and enjoying it without the backache.

Oh, my goodness, Hildred, what a relaxing few minutes that was! Such a beautiful garden, with fabulous (and familiar) flowers! Thank you so much!
How about you? Do you still have snow in your valley? I've been hearing from friends in the mid-Okanagan and they've had a bad winter there. It's certainly still very cold here, with lots of snow, the latest layer of it yesterday. Bright sunshine on the snow today.

I love flowers. This is a beautiful video. What is the first blue flower?

Hildred said...

Hi Ann, - the first blue flowers at the beginning of the video are delphinium, but the next little blue ones are bachelor buttons and further along there is some nice sky blue flax.

You are so talented (as a gardener and photographer both). I loved this. And thank you for the tea!

I hope I get back to Oregon in time to try do something like this during the summer.

Sallie (FullTime-Life) said...

Me again. I was reading Weaver's comment as mine was posting and realized that I should say that this is pretty much the only kind of gardening I do any more. But this summer I will help out a little bit at our daughter's and take some pictures.

Can you imagine how much I enjoyed your garden while listening to Bob scrape more snow off our deck? I can't believe the height of your Delphiniums. Thanks for the colorful respite, Hildred!
