Otherwise, I wish I had first thought of all the things Sallie wrote above in her comment, so I hope she won't mind when I write "ditto what Sallie wrote."Hill Top Posthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12417478558713036325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31566611.post-86597678064864128802019-01-05T18:35:01.386-08:002019-01-05T18:35:01.386-08:00Not a good time to pull a back muscle and develope...Not a good time to pull a back muscle and develope an itchy rash, not shingles I was glad to hear but the decorations are mostly away, I did find 2 that I had forgotten about, some dusting done, a book read and some hand sewing but no walking which is frustrating. (I remain in awe reading of your many talents -- weaving, baking, arranging flowers for church, gardening ...... in addition to your beautiful photos and thoughtful words!) And I so enjoy learning about your reading choices (pretty much the only one of your interests which I can remotely emulate)! Thank you for all the inspiration and for sharing your love of life.Sallie (FullTime-Life)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15442598857394838271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31566611.post-59160774438657821472019-01-05T01:35:17.906-08:002019-01-05T01:35:17.906-08:00So much to do, so little time now that we are slow...So much to do, so little time now that we are slowing down Hildred. But like you I fill every minute. I have taken up meditation and try to find a ten minute slot for that along the way. I also watch a little television - have just watched a really interesting programme on the Mississippi from source to the sea, We are lucky to have family too aren't we? My own family has a great clutch of birthdays in June, which is a much more satisfactory arrangement. All except for my mother whose birthday was in January, though this suited her fine as she always asked for gifts of money so that she could spend a day at the January sales with her lifelong friend Agnes, who sadly passed away just a few weeks before my mum.

Christmas is the only day when I use my dining table these days, such is the growing informality of mealtimes. Not much left of Christmas now apart from taking down the cards and decorations and stowing them back in the loft.

Wishing you every happiness (in weaving and reading) for the New Year.John "By Stargoose And Hanglands"https://www.blogger.com/profile/00832873074550725579noreply@blogger.com
