Most of the towns in the interior of British Columbia are barely one hundred years old.<br /><br />Here is a site to google that tells you a little about the Similkameen Valley, - we live between Keremeos and Cawston, about 10 miles from the U.S. border.<br />http://www.britishcolumbia.com/regions/towns/?townID=4050<br /><br />It is a beautiful valley, - mainly rural. In some of the towns of the Okanagan Valley people have been building large homes on the mountain slopes, but at a risk of being caught in forest fires.
